We are a locally established company working as a team of experienced divers with a humble beginning we introduced scuba diving to FUVAHMULAH with the very first dive and water sports business named “Fuvahmulah Dive and Water Sports” in the year 2013.

Scuba Butler has been founded by experienced and skilled dive professionals from Maldives and International platforms. Scuba Butler team is part of international networks of divers and is keenly aware of the requirements of all types of Scuba travelers who are passionate about scuba diving any where in the Maldives.
We are based in the Maldives in the beautiful southern island of Fuvahmulah which is making news as a popular dive destination with frequent sightings of tiger sharks. Catering to the dive market we offer total scuba solutions in any location in the Maldives, whether in the most popular dive spots or in remote areas which are relatively unknown and unexplored.

As a professional dive travel service company, Scuba Butler offers you the option to choose a holiday package through us, whether you would like to stay in one of our carefully curated collection of resort islands in the Maldives, or whether you prefer to select a dive holiday in one of our selected liveaboards.
We also provide you with the option of staying in a villa or small Hotel in a beautiful inhabited island anywhere in the Maldives.

Mohamed Shammoon Ameen (Shumi)
Founder & Chief Scuba Butler
Shumi’s extensive experience in assisting traveller’s on world famous luxury yachts like Flying Fox, Ace any few more led to the formation of the conception of Scuba Butler. Shumi, who is a PADI MSDT Specialty Instructor and an SSI Advanced Dive Control Specialist Instructor, ventured into the underwater world at a very young age and has over 12 years of experience working at luxury resorts and another 12 years of experience in working in luxury yachts in the Maldives and abroad.
The business operations of Scuba Butler are built on top of that experience, aiming for the total satisfaction of luxury traveler’s who are interested in exploring the stunning underwater beauty of the Maldives. Shumi’s years of working with foreign divers and his experience as a dive instructor in Austria also brings a good insight and understanding of cultural sensitivities, and the finer requirements of multicultural clients, to the core business operations of Scuba Butler.
